An Exploratory Factor Analysis of Work-Attributes of Pharmaceutical Sales Workforce during COVID-19 Lockdown

The global COVID-19 pandemic has re-defined work operations and work-attributes in our business environment. conventional day-to-day activities of the supply chain sales workforce have changed due to compulsory lockdown restrictions enforced by national governments worldwide. Hence, there is need identify key constructs embedded current realities. This research gap not been investigated using exploratory factor analysis (EFA). objective this study was evaluate pharmaceutical representatives’ (PSRs) perception selected EFA develop a framework constructs. A cross-sectional, quantitative technique used. 13-item structured questionnaire administered purposive sampling method 170 PSRs Nigeria. based on 5-point Likert scale ranging from 'strongly disagree (1) strongly agree' (5). Descriptive Inferential statistics SPSS 23. Work-attributes were extracted two-factor extraction methods; Principal component (PCA) with orthogonal rotation axis factoring (PAF) oblique rotation. Parallel (PA) simulated data sample size variables executed syntax. model fit characteristics satisfactory within criteria level.
